Initially, the entire questionnaire for the OTT customer onboarding portal was contained within an Excel sheet, presenting a challenge due to its extensive nature comprising over 150 questions. The unstructured format posed difficulties in providing a seamless user experience and raised concerns about potential impacts on client loyalty.
The objective was to transform the existing Excel-based questionnaire for the OTT customer onboarding portal into a structured, user-friendly format. This involved breaking down over 150 questions into logical sections and improving the overall visual appeal to enhance the user experience and boost client loyalty.
Collaborating with management and development teams, I systematically categorized the extensive questionnaire into logical sections. Simultaneously, I created a comprehensive color asset library and components from scratch to ensure a visually cohesive design. The implementation included optimizing input fields, checkboxes, and file upload sections for an intuitive interface. Prototyping and user testing were crucial steps in refining the design iteratively.
The redesigned OTT customer onboarding portal successfully achieved a seamless and visually appealing user flow. The transformation from an Excel sheet to a structured portal led to a 25% increase in completion rates, contributing to heightened client satisfaction and loyalty. The newly established color asset library and components not only improved the onboarding experience but also played a pivotal role in maintaining a consistent and attractive visual identity across the product.
